Studying on our Vocational Pathways gives you a direct route into apprenticeships or work. The pathways in this route are all designed to allow students to exit into further education or apprenticeships at the end of year 11, or to continue studying at the college to allow entry into university or higher apprenticeships at the end of year 13. They provide the training required to allow students to access some of the UKs fastest growing job markets.
Cambridge is home to one of Europe’s largest research centres, comprising of academia, industry and healthcare. All these sectors require highly trained laboratory staff. Due to the high level of practical laboratory skills that our students achieve through curriculum teaching and Challenge, taught in state of the art laboratories they are highly sort after following graduation as they are already ahead of their peers.
Health and Social Care
The College is located on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus which boasts 3 world class hospitals, training in health care will mean you are never out of work! Our close links with the Biomedical Campus mean that we are able to offer a bespoke hospital work experience program which supports students in applications for nursing as well as having an in depth understanding of the range of different professions available.
Engineers overcome the worlds problems. Designing next generation aircraft to fixing the air conditioning in an office, keeping food fresh to finding ways to treat arthritis. Our engineering pathway supports students enter this exciting field. Well equipped computing and technology laboratories provide the facilities that allow students to excel, whilst close links to a range of local businesses such as Mott MacDonald and ARM provide students with unique insights into this huge discipline.

Students in other age groups are welcome to attend at anytime between 5pm-8pm if unable to attend in the year-focused time slots.
